CARBON REGULATION MECHANISM AT THE BORDER (CCDM)

In this framework, it is envisaged that a carbon pricing system equivalent to the Emissions Trading System (ETS), which has been in place in the EU since 2005, will also be applied at the import stage of the products covered by the SDGCC. Efforts to establish a National ETS, which is important in the context of harmonization with the GCAC, are also continuing intensively. In this context, raising the awareness of our enterprises on the SDCC, ETS and carbon footprint will facilitate the green transformation process.
